Will be following with greater interest now, as we are planning a similar trip from Sydney up the coast to Port Douglas and back. Not sure whether to fly from Sydney to Brisbane and base our selves there, or whether to hire the car in Sydney…. decisions, decisions!!

Three more weeks and we trade the Alabama sun for the Ottawa snow.
